cravings // autumn vibes

October 11, 2015

Although October is usually known for its beautiful autumn weather, a quick view out of my window is telling me another story: Cold, dark and rainy weather is currently dominating the city. Good thing I am going to fly to a much warmer place on Tuesday: Fuerteventura will hopefully prolong my summer for another ten days and I am more than looking forward to this vacation before I am forced to face the cold time of the year after all. However, there are some good things coming along with the turn of year, such as new fashion pieces, trends and outfit possibilities. Admittedly, there are quite  a few things that have wandered straight onto my wish list already:

Acne Studios’ Wool Scarf is such a cozy classy piece that I have admired  during the past winter already and I am positive that this year it is going to be my faithful companion. I just have not been able to decide on the particular color: grey or black… What would you guys say?

I have been trying to mostly spend my money on classy pieces for quite some time now. Pieces that I know will last a looong while – and I am not only referring to durability here, but also to the style. Up until now, I have been missing one of those pieces sorely in my closet: A classy Trench coat. But it seems like my vain search has finally come to an end, because recently I found this timeless dreamy coat (via Peter Hahn) and I am more than convinced that it is perfectly worth investing in this autumn!

Although, when thinking about autumn the attributes that come to mind first are cozy knits and woolen cardigans, I love the thought of combining these with airy blouses, lace and silk. It is not only a great way to make summer clothes wearable during winter, in my opinion pieces like this lace top can also give every look the certain added extra!

What is it with women and bags? Once we fall in love with one there is almost nothing that will stop us first from thinking and eventually even from buying it in the end. Furla’s Metropolis crossbody bag has found its way into my heart already and I am afraid it is only a matter of time until this beauty is going to move in with me…

Here is a confession: I am more than picky when it comes to beauty products. Therefore, those few products that I do use daily are products that I swear on, for example my Urban Decay Naked eye shadow palettes. And whenever I like something a lot I usually cannot get enough of it: But really, their latest Smokey Eyes palette would just be the perfect addition to my beauty corner!

Love Acne scarves as well – would go for the darkgrey option as it seems to be the most elegant and yet comfy option out there. Black on black can seem a tad boring!
